IFA 2017: Ecovacs Unveil Google Home Enabled Vacuum Robot Prior To Australian Debut
Ecovacs Robotics unveiled its newest robotic vacuum range at IFA 2017 in Berlin, inclusive of the DEEBOT OZMO 930 model which features Google Home support.
The newly released range includes DEEBOT OZMO 930 and DEEBOT OZMO 610, which are both scheduled to release in Australia later this year.
Both models have been fitted with OZMO technology, which Ecovacs state “is designed to sweep and mop entire floor surfaces in one easy to manage step” regardless of whether they’re laminate, tiled or parquet.
The device features an extra-large electronically controlled water tank, which moistens a wash cloth throughout the cleaning process. The level of water exerted can be manually adjusted via the Ecovacs Robotics app.
Premier model the DEEBOT OZMO 930 goes one step further, recognising different floor surface types, and automatically adjusting the cleaning mode to suit. For example, carpets receive extra suction power. It also boasts ‘Intelligent Surface Technology’ as it protects carpets/rugs and avoids these surface types whilst mopping.
Country Manager for Ecovacs Australia and New Zealand, Damian Commane, spoke of the forthcoming launch into Australia:
“IFA is a very exciting time for us, and the timing could not be better to be showcasing products such as the DEEBOT OZMO 610 and DEEBOT OZMO 930. With the launch of the Ecovacs Robotics brand imminent for the Australian market, this is a great way to introduce products… We have had a strong level of success globally and now it is time to realise our plans for the Australian market”.
“The inclusion of OZMO technology is helping our products give back time to our customers so they can enjoy more special moments with family and friends. Our DEEBOT OZMO 930 is also Google Home enabled, which not only aligns with this year’s IFA ‘smart living’ theme, but also provides our customers with an added layer of sophistication and convenience”.
Ecovacs is expected to announce exact pricing and availability of the DEEBOT OZMO 610 and DEEBOT OZMO 930 in the Australian market very soon.
