HTC have announced their latest play for the mid-tier market, the HTC One X10.
The One X10 will feature a 4000mAh battery, a full-metal body with a 5.5-inch display, a matching set of 16 and 8-megapixel cameras and a Helio P10 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. It’ll also come with 32GB of on-board storage.
Spec-wise, the HTC One X10 looks like a pretty respectable effort, even if the device’s name seems destined for confusion.
The One X10 will be available through Vodafone and JB Hi-Fi outlets from the 17th of May.
“Following on from the HTC One X9, its highly successful predecessor, every aspect of the HTC One X10 is premium, except the price. Not only does it look sleek & stylish , it delivers on performance & convenience at a price that’s among the best value in the market today” says Thomas Dexmier, HTC Australia and New Zealand Head of Sales and Marketing.
According to him, “the handset has been carefully crafted to achieve the perfect balance between an elegant and rich design that will satisfy the style needs of our consumers, providing top of the range performance at a mid-range price point.”
It’s the first of two handsets HTC is expected to reveal this month, with their flagship HTC U device set for a May 23rd unveiling.
The HTC One X10 will be available from May 17 at an RRP of $549.
