Hisense has launched its RoamView 32S6S, a battery-powered 32-inch 4K touchscreen designed to move between rooms on an adjustable wheeled stand.

Previously unveiled at CES 2026 as the S6 FollowMe, the renamed RoamView competes with portable lifestyle displays including LG’s StanbyME 2 and Samsung’s MovingStyle.

The 3840 x 2160 ELED display runs at 60Hz and supports HDR10, touch gestures and automatic brightness adjustment through an ambient-light sensor.

Its stand allows the screen to rotate between landscape and portrait orientations and be tilted, raised or lowered. The display can also be removed and placed on a tabletop using the supplied easel.

A rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of claimed cordless operation and can be fully charged in three hours. However, the complete unit weighs 24.8kg, potentially limiting how easily it can be moved across stairs or uneven surfaces.

RoamView runs Android on a MediaTek Genio 1200 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Google Gemini is built in for voice, text and camera-based AI assistance.

A wide-angle camera with auto-framing supports video calls, livestreaming and content creation, while a physical shutter provides privacy when the camera is not required.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.1 and USB 3.0, alongside Chromecast, Miracast and DLNA screen sharing. Audio is delivered through two 8W speakers with DTS-HD support.

Hisense is pitching RoamView for streaming, recipes, workouts, video calls, digital art, whiteboarding, karaoke and smart-home control. It can also operate as a movable promotional or point-of-sale display for businesses.

Despite its TV-like appearance, the RoamView does not include a digital or analogue television tuner or support Dolby Atmos, making it more like an oversized Android tablet.

The RoamView has been listed overseas from US$1,199.99 (around A$1,800), placing it well above conventional 32-inch televisions.

Australian pricing and availability have not been announced.
