Hisense has unveiled its 2026 ULED MiniLED television lineup, introducing new U6 and U7 Series models aimed at delivering large-screen performance and premium features at more accessible prices.

The new range arrives as consumer demand for bigger home entertainment displays continues to grow, particularly ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the US. Hisense expects the tournament to drive interest in larger TVs designed for group viewing and sports.

Positioned in the middle of the company’s TV portfolio, the ULED lineup combines MiniLED backlighting, AI-powered picture processing and modern smart TV platforms. Hisense says the series balances performance and value while sitting below a future ultra-premium RGB MiniLED tier expected later.

The U7 Series leads the new lineup and is designed for sports, gaming and large-screen entertainment. It uses thousands of MiniLED backlights combined with Full Array Local Dimming and Hisense’s Hi-View AI Engine Pro to optimise brightness, contrast and picture clarity across different content types.

A key feature is the native 165Hz refresh rate, aimed at reducing motion blur during fast-paced action such as live sport and gaming.

The U7 Series will be available in screen sizes of up to 116 inches, targeting users who want a cinema-style experience at home. Audio is delivered through a 50W 2.1.2-channel sound system with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X, designed to provide immersive sound without the need for external speakers.

Two smart TV platform options will be available. U7SG models will run Google TV, while U7SF variants will ship with Amazon’s Fire TV platform.

Below the U7 range sits the U6 Series, which aims to bring MiniLED technology to a wider audience. Available as the U6SF and U6SF Pro, the TVs feature Hi-QLED MiniLED panels with Quantum Dot colour and Full Array Local Dimming for improved brightness and colour accuracy.

The U6 models also include AI-powered picture optimisation and an integrated subwoofer with Dolby Atmos support. Screen sizes range from 55 inches to 100 inches, with all models running Fire TV OS.

The U7 Series starts at US$1,299, while the U6 Series is expected to roll out in the coming weeks. Hisense has yet to confirm Australian pricing or local availability.
