CHiQ has expanded its laundry appliance range in Australia with the introduction of the WD85SB1 washer-dryer combo, a new model aimed at households looking to maximise space without sacrificing washing capacity.

The appliance combines an 8.5kg washing capacity with a 4.5kg drying capacity, allowing users to complete a full wash-and-dry cycle within a single machine. With an installed depth of 577mm, the unit is designed to fit into apartments, townhouses and laundry spaces where room is at a premium.

Washer-dryer combinations have become increasingly popular as Australian households seek practical solutions that reduce the need for multiple appliances. Warranty coverage remains an important consideration for appliance buyers, particularly as consumers increasingly expect products to remain in service for longer periods. The WD85SB1 is supplied with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty, while customers who register the appliance can receive an additional two years of coverage, bringing the total warranty period to five years.
