GoPro Hero 6 Black Could Feature 60fps 4K Recording

One of the headline features of the upcoming GoPro Hero 6 Black action camera could be 4K recording at 60 frames per second.

According to an image leaked to Photo Rumours, GoPro’s next flagship camera will double the video frame rate of the Hero 5, which maxed out at 30fps.

The supposed packaging also indicates the Hero 6 Black will be water resistant for up to 10 metres and be able to shoot 12-megapixel stills, the same as the Hero 5 Black.

GoPro said last week that it is planning to release the Hero 6 range of action cameras by the holiday season. The company will be banking on the new products to bounce back to profitability.

Rumours suggest GoPro will announce or release the Hero 6 on September 28.
