BenQ Introduces 4K Laser Projector With ‘Superior’ Brightness
BenQ has introduced its new LG970 BlueCore laser projector with a 8.3-megapixel 4K UHD resolution and 5,000 lumens of brightness.
The high brightness output of the 4K projector is driven by BlueCore laser banks, which work together with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and a dual colour wheel system to deliver “exceptional color, brightness, contrast, and resolution”.
“LK970 embodies BenQ’s crowning achievement in professional display technology,” said BenQ Corporation President Conway Lee.
“Combining 4K resolution with BlueCore laser projection, LK970 provides the ultimate large-scale display platform for entertainment simulators, cinema, auditoriums, museums and galleries,” Lee said.
The LK970 is able to run 24/7 for commercial and professional applications, and can last up to 20,000 without lamp replacement or up to 60,000 in Eco Mode. It is also hermetically sealed against dust damage and image degradation.
Installation methods such as 360-degree and portrait orientation, as well as projection options like horizontal and vertical lens shift and zoom, enable the projector to be used in a variety of different applications.
