Google has officially confirmed the date for its next Made by Google hardware showcase, with the company set to unveil its latest Pixel devices on 12 August 2026 in New York City.

Invitations sent to media reveal the event will begin at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, marking a departure from Google’s more typical daytime product launches. The announcement is expected to focus on the next generation of Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 11 family.

The invitation includes a short animated teaser featuring what appears to be a gold-coloured Pixel handset, hinting at one of the finishes that could be available when the new range launches.

Although Google has yet to reveal any official specifications, a steady stream of leaks has offered an early look at what to expect. The standard Pixel 11 is rumoured to feature slimmer display bezels than its predecessor while retaining Google’s signature rear camera bar, albeit with a refined design.

Reports also suggest the Pixel 11 Pro could arrive with a slightly thinner chassis than the Pixel 10 Pro. Meanwhile, the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold is tipped to become even slimmer than the previous generation and may feature a redesigned rear camera housing.

Google has traditionally used its Made by Google event to introduce new smartphones alongside updates to its broader hardware ecosystem, although the company has not confirmed what additional products, if any, will be announced this year.

The 2025 Made by Google event was held on 20 August and featured television host Jimmy Fallon alongside a live audience. The Pixel 10 series went on sale eight days later, on 28 August. Whether Google follows a similar release schedule for the Pixel 11 range remains to be seen.
