Google Assistant Compatible Devices Triples In 4 Months

The number of devices that are compatible with Google Assistant have grown exponentially in the past four months from 1,500 to 5,000.

These compatible devices includes cameras, dishwashers, doorbells, dryers, lights, plugs, thermostats, security systems, switches and vacuums.

Google’s developer conference starts next week which seems like will focus around the Google Assistant – similar to its gigantic outdoor marquee at CES in January.

Google has been amping up its presence of Google Assistant in the past years especially in Australia after the introduction of the Google Home last July.

In Australia, more and more sound brands are integrating the Google Assistant into their products, including JBL, Sony, Panasonic and Klipsch.

However, Google still has some work to do with its main competitor Amazon Alexa compatible with more than 12,000 devices.
