Google ANZ Boss Jumps Ship To Domain
Google Australia & New Zealand MD, Jason Pellegrino, has announced he’s departing the tech giant after nearly ten years, taking the reins as Domain Holdings Australia’s MD & CEO from August 27th.Mr Pellegrino is set to replace former Domain boss, Anthony Catalano, who resigned in January this year.
Pellegrino’s appointment ceases the interim leadership of Chairman Nick Falloon, who reportedly conducted a six month “domestic and international” search for the new hire.
As per The Australian, Pellegrino is set to receive a fixed annual pay of $1.2 million, and short-term incentives up to $960,000.
Coupled with long-term incentives, he could reportedly snare a maximum ongoing package of $3.6 million.
Pellegrino will reportedly receive a $500,000 cash bonus at the end of the calendar year, and is also in line to collect $2 million in “engagement shares” if with Domain by mid-2020.
Mr Pellegrino joined Google in 2008, working across several strategic and operational roles before taking the ANZ MD post in 2016.
He holds over 15 years experience in M&As and corporate strategy with companies such as PepsiCo and KPMG.
