Futuristic BMW E-Bike Hits Production At 120km/h

Just hitting production, the innovative new BMW electric bike, the CE 04, promises speeds of up to 120km/h, leaving rivals waiting at the lights.

Set to be a stand-out in the electric vehicle market, with a 130km range, it seems to be a hybrid of a high-end scooter and a light e-bike, powered by a 31KW motor.

With BMW planning many steps into the market, it’s capable of hitting max speed in about three seconds. A second reduced model is also close to production.

Keeping riders safe, it comes with Automatic Stability Control (ASC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and a reverse gear that offers flexibility in navigation.

BMW say there will also be fast charging functionality.
