Fetch TV & Aussie Broadband Offer No Lock In Contract Deal

Fetch TV has inked a deal with Aussie Broadband, to provide the internet provider’s customers access to its video streaming service, contract-free over the NBN.

From December 2018, Aussie Broadband customers will view their entertainment and internet packages from “one bill”.

Aussie Broadband will offer its customers Fetch’s 4K capable Mighty box (with 4 tuners and 1TB video recording storage) for $15/month, or the Fetch Mini streaming box for $10/month.

Like many of its existing plan, Aussie Broadband will offer Fetch TV with no lock-in contract.

Fetch TV CEO, Scott Lorson, claims its partnership with Aussie Broadband will enable the streaming provider to notch 1 million Australian households.

Aussie Broadband MD, Phillip Britt, asserts Fetch TV is is a “perfect match” for the company, taking home entertainment to the next level.

“We think Fetch as a company is a great partner for us, which is almost as important as the service itself – they have the same focus on delivering a high-quality product, similar values and the same sense of humour,” remarks Britt.

Fetch TV aims to be a one-stop entertainment platform, providing access to free-to-air TV, catch up services, $6 per month content packs with linear subscription channels, a ‘Movie Store’ with over 7,500 movies to buy or rent, a ‘TV Store’ with hundreds of shows, integrated access to Netflix, Stan, hayu, YouTube plus more.

Aussie Broadband claims now the fifth largest NBN provider in Australia, after recently being named  the country’s Best Broadband Provider at the national CommsDay Edison Awards.
