Fetch TV Adds Reality TV Streaming Through Hayu
Fetch TV has expanded the range of video streaming services available on the Fetch platform with the addition of Hayu.
Some Fetch subscribers will already be able to access the reality TV subscription service through the Fetch ‘Apps’ menu, while a full rollout for all customers will continue in the coming weeks.
“Fetch is the ideal platform to extend and grow hayu’s presence across Australia,” said Hendrik McDermott, SVP, Branded On-Demand Entertainment, NBCUniversal International.
Over 150 reality shows are available through Hayu, with most available to watch on the same day as their launch in the US. Among the programs available through the service are The Real Housewives franchise, Top Chef, Made In Chelsea and all Kardashian reality shows.
“We are pleased to bring hayu’s extensive reality TV programming line-up to Fetch’s impressive network of ISP partners and steadily growing subscriber base. We’re excited to now offer those subscribers access to hayu and our vast library of top-quality reality content,” McDermott said.
Hayu joins other streaming services and apps available on the Fetch platform including Netflix, Stan and YouTube. Fetch TV also announced earlier this week the availability of UFC Pay-Per-View events and other content through Fetch.
“Some of our most-watched shows are reality TV, so we’re thrilled to be able to offer Fetch subscribers access to the hayu on-demand reality service,” said Fetch TV CEO Scott Lorson.
“Fetch continues to expand our content offering, as we live up to our brand promise of ‘All your entertainment in one place’,” Lorson added.
A subscription to Hayu costs $5.99 per month. Fetch customers can sign up through hayu.com/fetch for a free two-month trial.
