Synergy Secures Vivitek Projector Distribution

Melbourne based distributor Synergy has snared the right to Vivitek Cinema and Large Venue Projectors that were previously distributed by Hills.

The award winning DLP projectors will be launched in Australia in mid August 2017 into the Pro AV and home markets.

Phil Sawyer the Managing Director of Synergy said that he was confident that there was a growing market for the Vivitek product especially as several organisations were moving to using DLP display technology that is also found in both BenQ and Acer projectors for large installations in Australia.

ChannelNews understands that the recent International Convention Centre in Sydney purchased over $25M dollars worth of projectors and AV equipment alone.

Sawyer said “We have been working on this deal for several months and we are confident that the brand will become a key part of our portfolio” he said.

Vivitek, a brand of Delta Electronics, is a leading manufacturer of visual display, projection and presentation products. Incorporated in 1971 the brand is sold in markets such as the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia and now Australia. They are also the world’s largest DLP (Digital Light Processing) projector manufacturer.

Large Venue & High Brightness Projectors

For large venue and high brightness applications, Vivitek offers a range of high-performance projectors that they claim can be relied on for any fixed installation, large screen or rental project.

Vivitek has equipped its projectors with easy installation features such as laser light sources or dual-lamp switching technology, interchangeable lenses and colour wheels together with native edge blending and warping options.
