EXCLUSIVE: Acer Getting Into Lifestyle Appliance Market In OZ
Acer is best known for their notebooks, PC workstations and computer peripherals, now Acer is set to launch into the appliance lifestyle market with a new sub brand.
The official launch will take place on March 6th in Sydney with their CEO Gaba Cheng confirming the launch of new “lifestyle products” next month.
ChannelNews understands that the new category could be called Acerpure with a new range of air purifiers that will take on the likes of Dyson.
Acer is not new to the world of appliances with the Company already selling appliances overseas.
In Asia Acer pure has five products in their appliance lineup, which includes air circulators and vacuum cleaners.
Among them is a conventional cyclone-action vacuum cleaner that can be used with different suction heads. The clean V1 has three different speeds: Eco, Standard and Turbo, and can last up to 60 minutes of use on Eco mode.
It also boasts a suction power of 23,000Pa. .
Their entry level V1 Lite can also be extended to clean hard-to-reach places such as car interiors.
Weighing in at 550 grams, users will be able to charge the V1 lite using a USB-C cable, making it a truly portable device, pricing is tipped to be around $239.
Also in the range is the Acerpure C2 air purifier and circulator hybrid. Theis device is capable of moving air in a room on humid days while keeping it fresh.
It can be controlled via an app or its remote control.
Similar to the C2, their is also a Pro model in the range.
The Acerpure pro P2 is a standalone air purifier that is similar to the C2, without the air circulator.
Another product in the range is the F1 which is a standalone air circulator.
It is similar to the cool C2’s air circulator, but with added speed and functionality.
