Miele has introduced a new design direction centred on flexibility and connectivity, presenting its “Designed to Move with You” concept at EuroCucina 2026. The approach rethinks the kitchen as a responsive living space that adapts to changing lifestyles, combining intelligent technology with design that integrates seamlessly into the home.

At the Milan showcase, the concept is brought to life through an immersive exhibition where appliances, architecture and user interaction are closely aligned. Miele highlights how the kitchen can function as a connected ecosystem, with products designed to respond intuitively to everyday needs. Among the features on display are the KM 8000 induction hobs paired with M Sense cookware, developed to prevent food from burning or boiling over. A compact steam drawer, measuring just 14cm in height, expands cooking options without requiring additional space, while newly introduced extractor hoods focus on refined aesthetics and reduced size.

The company also presents CulinaryCoach, an AI-powered assistant designed to simplify meal preparation. The system offers tailored cooking suggestions, answers questions during the process and can automatically transfer settings to connected appliances, reducing the need for manual adjustments.

Miele’s vision extends beyond the exhibition floor to its newly updated Experience Centre in the Brera Design District, which reopens during Milan Design Week. The space has been redesigned as an interactive environment that demonstrates how kitchens can blend into wider living areas. Through real-world scenarios, visitors can explore how technology and design work together to create a more fluid home experience.

A key element within the centre is the “Miele Compact Living: Kitchen Unit powered by Hettich” concept, which addresses the growing demand for adaptable solutions in smaller homes. The design combines appliances with flexible furniture systems, offering a space-efficient approach that maintains performance while supporting modern urban lifestyles.

Through this concept, Miele outlines a future where the kitchen evolves alongside its users, bringing together technology, design and spatial thinking to create environments that are both practical and emotionally engaging.
