Fisher & Paykel has presented a new immersive installation at EuroCucina 2026 in Milan, unveiling its Nature-Ritual concept as a reimagining of how appliances, design and daily living come together. The premium appliance brand from Aotearoa New Zealand has created a large-scale environment that introduces its State of the Art Collection within a setting inspired by the country’s natural landscapes.

Spanning 450 square metres, the installation explores the idea that thoughtful design can transform everyday routines into more meaningful experiences. Appliances are integrated into a broader architectural framework rather than displayed as individual objects, reflecting the brand’s focus on life-centred luxury where design, intelligence and performance work together to enhance the home.

The concept also marks an evolution of Fisher & Paykel’s Minimal Style, featuring refined black or grey glass finishes, flush integration and precise detailing. This design language extends across cooking and fabric care, as well as the wider structure of the installation, supporting architects and designers in creating cohesive and carefully resolved spaces.

Chief Executive Officer Daniel Witten-Hannah said the exhibition represents the company’s origins and ambitions on a global stage. He described the concept as an expression of design that is grounded in place, shaped by human needs and delivered with clarity. He added that seamless integration and advanced product design are intended to reduce friction while elevating everyday living.

Creative direction was led by Dean Poole of Alt Group, with exhibition design developed by Calvi Brambilla and Partners in Milan. The installation has been conceived as a calm retreat within the busy environment of EuroCucina, combining monolithic structures with a layered sensory experience that draws on natural elements.

From the outside, the structure appears as a textured, solid form, offering only glimpses of the interior through carefully placed openings. Inside, visitors move through four distinct environments crafted from tōtara timber and volcanic basalt, materials that reference New Zealand’s landscapes. The experience is enhanced by bespoke ceramic works from artist Aaron Scythe, along with sound, scent and lighting designed to create a fully immersive atmosphere.

Each of the four spaces presents a different interpretation of how appliances can support modern living. The Tea Experience welcomes visitors with kawakawa tea, prepared on an induction-heated stone surface and served in handmade ceramics. This setting features the Series 11 60cm Minimal Style ovens, recognised with a Red Dot Best of the Best award.

The Kitchen as Monolith explores the kitchen as a unified architectural form, with carved timber and stone surfaces framing integrated food and wine solutions. A modular induction cooktop sits flush within the basalt, while DishDrawer Dishwashers are designed with stone fronts to create a seamless visual composition. This area also introduces the Series 11 30-inch Minimal Style oven with steam assist.

In the Wine Experience, curved timber forms define a space dedicated to storage and tasting, showcasing integrated Column Wine Cabinets with precise temperature control and specialised modes. The 61cm Series 11 Integrated Column Wine Cabinet is positioned as a key element in creating a built-in wine environment within the home.

The Fabric Care Experience presents a new approach to garment care, designed as an extension of the wardrobe. Featuring fibre-specific treatments, steam functions and intelligent sensing, the system aims to preserve clothing over time. The space also includes a garment created by designer Claudia Li, alongside the Series 11 Minimal Style Fabric Care Cabinet, which extends the brand’s refined aesthetic into laundry spaces.

Across the installation, the State of the Art Collection highlights Fisher & Paykel’s focus on seamless integration, modular design and precise temperature control. Each appliance is built on advanced platforms that combine sensing technology with insights from food and fabric science, enabling consistent performance and improved results.

Nature-Ritual is located at EuroCucina, Hall 4P, Stand D34, and presents a forward-looking view of how kitchens and living spaces can evolve. By combining natural materials, sensory design and advanced technology, Fisher & Paykel is positioning the home as a place where everyday activities are elevated into considered and connected rituals.
