J-Lo’s (Pricey) Nokia Tablet Hits OZ, $840

J-LoThe first Nokia tablet to be sold in Australia costs $840 outright exclusively at Telstra, or on plan for $60 pm.

The high spec but not cheap 10″ LCD Full HD Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet runs Microsoft Windows RT 8.1 and good for use in the harsh Aussie sun with its high resolution.
The Nokia tab has a super fast engine, a quad-core 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD, 6.7 mp camera with auto focus and takes Full HD video.
It also has Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint so good for work stuff and Lync (Corporate IM) comes as a free download. There’s also Nokia Music inbuilt.

The 4G tablet charges 80% in one hour.

Giving the tablet a bit of glam, the 10″ Lumia tablet makes a guest appearance alongside Jennifer Lopez’ in her new video ‘I Luh Ya PaPi’ featuring French Montana.

Nokia Lumia 2520 on a $35 Telstra plan (+$25 device fee) over 24 months, includes 4GB of data ($0.85c/MB). The same plan is available for Business customers.

It will be on sale at Telstra online from tomorrow and nationwide stores on May 13, but considering you can get a Microsoft Surface 32GB tablet for as cheap as $527, this Lumia does seems pricey.
Telstra are offering Nokia Power Keyboard for $10 per month with an Accessory Payment Option (min cost over 24 months $240), and there also some cool looking Nokia Purity headsets by Monster and a Bluetooth stereo headset.
