Eco Friendly Marley Record Player Goes Wireless

House Of Marley the popular ecofriendly sound brand is set to roll out a new version of their Stir Up record player only this time the device has wireless capability built in.

According to the Company the Stir it Up Wireless player will maintain the same look and feel of the original, but now with Bluetooth v4.2 capability now built into the device which has a new pairing button that delivers a 10m range for smooth wireless connectivity.

For those who want to digitise their vinyl, Stir it Up Wireless allows users to access USB to PC recording.

Marley products which are top sellers at JB Hi Fi are unique due to their ecofriendly materials. Like the original version, Stir it Up Wireless will consist of consciously sourced and recycled materials including solid bamboo plinth, recycled silicone, recyclable aluminium alloy, and House of Marley’s signature REWINDTM fabric composed of reclaimed hemp, organic cotton, and recycled plastic bottles.

The Company claims that their materials do more than just help the planet…they also contribute to the turntable’s high-quality audio.

Aluminium alloy provides a more stable playing surface and recycled silicone helps with vibration dampening while the bamboo makes for a sturdy, durable device.

One way to get the best out of this Stir it Up Wireless vinyl player is to combine it with House of Marley’s dual-paring capable speakers. Or, users can opt for their own high-end amp and cartridge to create a completely custom setup the Company claims.

The turntable spins at both 45 and 33 RPM speeds and includes a replaceable Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge.

“With the original Stir it Up, we designed a turntable to pay homage to the era of vinyl when Bob Marley was alive. A simple and classic look with natural details,” explains House of Marley Director ofProduct Development, Josh Poulsen. “The Stir it Up Wireless is marrying that retro look with modern technology, all while using sustainable design elements.”

The Stir it Up Wireless is set to sell for around $399.
