DJI’s next compact vlogging camera appears to be getting close to launch, with new leaks revealing a redesigned chassis for the upcoming Osmo Pocket 4.

Images shared across Chinese social media show the new model side-by-side with the current Osmo Pocket 3 (pictured main), confirming subtle but significant design tweaks.

The Pocket 4 stands slightly taller and slimmer than its predecessor, while keeping DJI’s trademark pocket-sized form factor.

The biggest visual change is the addition of two hardware buttons positioned beneath the rotatable touchscreen, replacing the ‘Osmo’ logo found on the Pocket 3.

These controls could offer shortcuts for video recording, focus adjustment or gimbal movement, potentially making one-handed operation far easier for vloggers and content creators.

The leaked images align with earlier sightings of what appeared to be a Pocket 4 prototype being tested in Barcelona.

Multiple reports now suggest the new model has entered mass production, suggesting DJI could unveil it before early 2026.

DJI last refreshed its pocket camera line in 2023 with the Osmo Pocket 3, which impressed with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 4K/120fps recording and a 2-inch rotatable OLED screen.

However, its short battery life and 179g weight drew criticism from creators looking for longer shooting endurance.

Rumours around the Pocket 4 hint at broader improvements, including the potential for a dual-camera setup with a telephoto or depth sensor to complement the main 1-inch camera.

Other leaks point to improved ergonomics and possibly better zoom performance, with some insiders suggesting a separate ‘Pro’ variant could arrive later in 2025.

While DJI has yet to comment officially, the growing number of leaks, and reports of production already underway, strongly suggest the Osmo Pocket 4 will soon make its debut.
