Devialet Serves Up Limited-Edition Roland-Garros Phantom With Clay Court Styling
French hi-fi brand Devialet has turned its Phantom Ultimate wireless speaker into a clay-court collector’s item for the Roland-Garros tennis tournament in Paris.
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate Roland-Garros Exclusive Edition comes in two versions, the larger 108dB model and the smaller 98dB unit.
Both use the same hardware as the standard Phantom Ultimate range, but add clay red and warm ochre finishes, white court-line detailing and the official tournament logo.
The 108dB model is rated at 1,100W with a claimed 14Hz to 35kHz frequency range, while the 98dB version delivers 400W and 18Hz to 25kHz. Streaming support includes AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and UPnP.

Sports branding is becoming a familiar play in premium audio. Beats and Nike recently launched the Powerbeats Pro 2 Nike Special Edition, with heart-rate monitoring and ANC.
Bowers & Wilkins and McLaren teamed up for the Px8 S2 headphones, Pi8 earbuds and Zeppelin speaker, while Bang & Olufsen’s Ferrari Collection puts Rosso Corsa red across speakers, headphones and earbuds.
Roland-Garros has served up tech tie-ins before. Urbanears released clay-red Roland-Garros Hellas Bluetooth headphones, hearO has sold Bluetooth speakers made from genuine French Open tennis balls, while Renault has applied Roland-Garros branding to its 5 E-Tech electric car.
Devialet says only a few hundred units will be produced. US pricing is $4,200 for the 108dB model and $2,100 for the 98dB version, with Australian pricing and availability yet to be confirmed.
