Daniel Bertuccio has announced his resignation from Worldwide Appliances, the distributor that has spent 2025 aggressively expanding its portfolio of premium appliance brands in the Australian market.

Bertuccio, who reported to CEO Michael Doyle and previously served as General Manager at Electrolux, has been a key figure in driving growth across both Eurolinx and Worldwide Appliances.

What has surprised the industry is his move to take on a role at struggling Italian appliance Company Ilve.

In an email sent to retail partners, he confirmed that his final day with the business will be December 24, 2025.

“After 21 years with the business, I believe it is time for me to move on to new opportunities,” he wrote. Bertuccio did not indicate whether he has accepted a new role, but ChannelNews can reveal that he is taking a role at Ilve an appliance brand that was previously distributed by Eurolinx.

He expressed gratitude to colleagues and industry partners, adding: “I am grateful for the relationships, support and continued partnerships I have experienced during my time here. The past two decades have been an amazing journey personally and professionally, and I sincerely thank the Colbert Family, Mark Warden and Michael Doyle for their trust and faith in me.”

Bertuccio said he is confident the teams at Eurolinx and Worldwide Appliances “will continue to thrive into 2026 and beyond.”

Worldwide Appliances: A Growing Force in Premium Appliances

Michael Doyle CEO Worldwide Appliances

Worldwide Appliances has been steadily strengthening its position in the Australian appliance market over the past several years, but 2025 marked a particularly active phase. The company has expanded its footprint across premium cooking, cooling, and laundry categories, supported by strong relationships with leading European manufacturers.

The business has also invested in upgraded national distribution and support infrastructure, along with enhanced training programs for retail partners—moves that have helped it compete more aggressively against larger multinational appliance companies.

As part of its 2025 expansion strategy, Worldwide Appliances focused heavily on premium and design-led products, a segment that continues to grow as Australian consumers increasingly shift toward higher-end kitchen and laundry solutions. The company has also been broadening its retailer network, securing additional floor space in major retail groups as well as independent specialist stores.

Industry insiders say Bertuccio played a pivotal role in shaping this diversification and strengthening the brand’s market presence, making his departure a significant moment for the organisation.
