D-Link Launch Mini Wi-Fi Plug With Google, Alexa

D-Link has released its new DSP-W118 mydlink Mini Wi-Fi Smart Plug in Australia, offering user-friendly home automation and security features with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support.

The DSP-W118 allows users to manage and control any attached electrical appliance in the home with a smartphone device via D-Link’s free mydlink app.

It is now available to buy from D-Link’s website and authorised retailers for $39.95.

Users can set schedules and automate their appliances using the mydlink app and new smart plug, as well as set automation rules that interact with other mydlink devices.

The mydlink app also gives users the ability to create a voice-enabled smart home, due to its seamless integration with Google Assistant or Alexa.

“The new mydlink Mini Wi-Fi Smart Plug is an integrated part of making that ecosystem in a smart and seamless fashion,” said Graeme Reardon, D-Link ANZ MD.

“Put simply, the new smart plug combined with the mydlink app makes it easier for people to enable their smart home by adding clever automation and additional security.”
