Complaints Roll In For Harvey Norman

Harvey Norman has once again been recognised as one of the most complained about businesses in NSW.

NSW Fair Trading received 30 complaints about the retailer in May and listed it in the top position of its complaints register for the month along with ticket reseller Viagogo, which also received 30 complaints.

Harvey Norman has remained one of the top five most complained about businesses every month since NSW Fair Trading first published the list in July 2016.

Apple was the subject of 29 complaints to NSW Fair Trading, almost half of which related to the iPhone and/or accessories.

Following Apple on the list are Ray White with 28 complaints, Ticketek with 27 complaints, and a company capitalising on the fidget spinner craze called ‘Fidget Australia’ with 24 complaints.

Samsung re-entered the complaints register in seventh position with 23 complaints after not appearing on the register at all last month. More than two thirds of the complaints related to smartphones and/or accessories.

NSW Fair Trading only lists companies that received ten or more complaints during the calendar month.

Sutton Motors, LJ Hooker and liquidated fashion company Shakuhachi fill out the remaining positions in the top ten.
