Belkin has refreshed one of its earliest Nintendo Switch 2 accessories, unveiling a redesigned Charging Case Pro at CES 2026 that focuses on ease of use and everyday practicality. While the new model retains the same 10,000 mAh internal battery capacity as its predecessor, the way that power is delivered and managed has been significantly improved.

Unlike the original version, the updated Charging Case Pro no longer requires the battery module to be removed for recharging. Belkin has added a USB-C port to the exterior of the case, allowing the internal battery to be topped up directly. A small built-in display now shows remaining battery life, giving users a clearer idea of how much power is available before heading out.

Inside the case, Belkin has also reworked how the Switch 2 is supported while charging. The earlier design relied on the console’s own flip-out stand, but the new Pro model includes an adjustable stand integrated into the battery housing itself. The console connects via a USB-C port when placed on the stand, delivering power in a manner similar to docking the Switch 2.

Storage options have been expanded as well. The case features a dedicated flap for game cartridges, a mesh pocket for cables and other accessories, and a concealed compartment designed to hold tracking devices such as an AirTag or Tile tracker. These additions aim to make the case a complete travel solution for Switch 2 owners.

The upgraded design does come at a higher cost. Belkin’s original Charging Case for Nintendo Switch 2 launched in June last year at approximately $A105. The new Charging Case Pro is available now with a price of approximately $A150, reflecting a price increase of $A45 for the added features and refinements.
