CES 2020: Swann Unveils Wireless, Facial Recognition Security Devices

Swann has released a new range of wire-free home security devices at CES 2020. The new smart security devices are equipped with free facial recognition technology for smarter alerts and a sophisticated new design.

In a bid to continue delivering consumers the smartest, most intuitive yet affordable camera security devices, Swann has expanded their smart home lineup to include ‘next generation’ Wire-Free Security Camera and Wire-Free Doorbell & Chime. They have also launched a Wifi Security Tracker Camera which is a CES 2020 Innovation Award Honouree and is the world’s first compact, non-mechanical pan-tilt security camera that includes Direction Detection.

‘At Swann, we recognise the security needs of everyday home users and are committed to simplifying this for our consumers,’ said Mike Lucas, CEO of Swann.

‘Consumers want access to high-quality home security solutions that prevent crime, interconnect with one another, and offer value, with no recurring fees. Our new Wire–Free cameras provide all of this, in a sleek new design, without the need to compromise on features or safety.’

The wire-free range enables owners the convenience of wireless connectivity combined with professional-grade performance. The fully wireless Camera and Video Doorbell work with the Swann Security app, are easy to install and are said to have a long battery life to ensure continuous home security.

But the most impressive feature of the Video Doorbell is the facial recognition technology, which takes the mystery away from whoever is at the door and provides users with a safe way to interact with them.

The Swann Wi-Fi Security Tracker Camera is the world’s first compact, non-mechanical pan-tilt security camera that includes Direction Detection. This camera, which was also an Honouree at the CES 2020 Innovation Awards, uses Swann’s Light Flow Detection technology to auto track and record moving objects without physically having to pan or tilt.

All of Swann’s wireless cameras are part of a complete security ecosystem built around the ‘Swann Security’ app, giving owners an ability to control Swann’s wired and wireless devices from multiple sites, stream live video, receive notifications and know what’s happening at all times.

Swann is the only vendor that offers a complete line up of interconnectable wired and wireless security solutions that is also completely integrated with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
