Samsung PR Manager Quits For Senior Role At Apple

James, who previously worked for Edelman PR, the former PR Company to Samsung, quit Samsung suddenly last week, with emails being directed to Jai Sanderson, the new Corporate Communications Manager at Samsung. Her mobile phone has also been disconnected.

The shock exit comes only days after arch competitor LG announced the appointment of Pulse as its new PR Company following a decision by Burson Marsteller to resign the account following a global pitch.

According to Rob Small, Marketing Director at Apple Australia, James will report to Corporate Communications Manager Fiona Martin.

“James is an addition to the marketing team and I am looking forward to working with her. She has energy and I am confident that she will fit in at Apple,” he said.

Prior to joining Samsung, James worked in several agency and in-house roles. She has extensive consumer electronics knowledge.
