Beyerdynamic Returns to DJ Market with Modular DJ 300 PRO X Headphones
German audio specialist Beyerdynamic has made a long-awaited return to the DJ scene with its new DJ 300 PRO X and DJ 300 PRO X CLUB headphones, marking its first dedicated DJ releases in nearly a decade.
Both models feature a unique 2-in-1 modular design, allowing DJs to switch between on-ear and over-ear configurations in seconds.
The on-ear setup keeps headphones lightweight and portable for live gigs, while the over-ear pads provide superior isolation for studio work or pre-gig cueing.
Beyerdynamic also offers customisable ear cups through its online configurator.

Both headphones share the same audio and performance specs. Each houses a 45mm dynamic driver, delivering deep, controlled bass, clear mids and crisp highs, designed to remain distortion-free at high volumes.
The pair support a maximum SPL of 122 dB (on-ear) and 117 dB (over-ear), ensuring DJs can hear every detail even in the loudest clubs.
Durability is another focus, with fully replaceable ear pads, headband and cables. The detachable 1.5m coiled cable connects via a bayonet lock, reducing handling noise, while an angled plug prevents strain during performances. A foldable design and carrying pouch make transport between gigs seamless.

The main difference between the two models is styling.
The DJ 300 PRO X has a clean, professional aesthetic, while the DJ 300 PRO X CLUB sports more of a streetwear-inspired look with silver forks and orange ‘CLUB’ lettering.
Kevin Nietsch, Product Manager at Beyerdynamic, said: “The DJ scene is as diverse as the music we play. That’s why our latest DJ headphones come in two versions – one minimal and one bold – with a versatile 2-in-1 system and customizable ear cups for personal expression.”
