Beko has been recognised as the world’s leading household durables company in the 2026 Corporate Knights Global 100, ranking 45th among the most sustainable publicly listed companies globally. The achievement marks a 23-place improvement from Beko’s 68th position in 2025, while the company maintained its number one ranking within the household durables category. The recognition reflects Beko’s ongoing commitment to embedding sustainability into its operations, product development, and long-term growth strategy.

This accolade follows a series of other international sustainability assessments in which Beko has consistently performed strongly. In 2025, the company was named one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies for the second consecutive year, appearing in the Top 20 and securing the top position within its industry. Beko also achieved the highest score in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment for the DHP Household Durables Industry for the seventh consecutive year. It received a Gold Medal from EcoVadis, placing it in the top three per cent of all companies assessed, and earned “Double A” status from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in 2026 for both Climate Change and Water Security, highlighting its leadership in corporate transparency.

Beko has translated these commitments into measurable actions. In 2024, the company invested €A265 million in environmental initiatives. Low-carbon appliances now account for more than 70 per cent of total revenue, with energy-efficient products forming a significant portion of this share. Material efficiency measures embedded in product design saved over 17,000 tonnes of resources, while more than 27,800 tonnes of recycled plastics were incorporated across manufacturing processes. The company also expanded its global refurbishment programme, extending the life of over 114,000 appliances in 2024.

Hakan Bulgurlu, Beko’s CEO, said the rankings validate the company’s approach to sustainability and demonstrate how responsible innovation can deliver measurable benefits for society, the economy, and the environment.

The Corporate Knights Global 100 evaluates publicly listed companies on their ability to develop sustainable economic models, with a focus on sustainable revenue, investment, and growth. Beko’s performance highlights its capacity to scale sustainability across products, manufacturing, and capital allocation while maintaining resilient business results.

This recognition confirms Beko’s position as a global leader in household durables, showing that environmental responsibility and business growth can advance together.
