Beko Earns Top Global Sustainability Ratings Across Major Benchmarks
Beko has strengthened its reputation as a global sustainability frontrunner after securing high-level recognition from three of the world’s most influential environmental and corporate responsibility assessments. Results released between December 2025 and early January 2026 show the appliance maker delivering strong performance across EcoVadis, the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment and the Carbon Disclosure Project.
In December, Beko received a Gold Medal rating from EcoVadis, scoring 82 out of 100 and placing the company in the top 3 per cent of all organisations assessed worldwide. The outcome reflected robust results across environmental management, labour and human rights standards, and sustainable procurement, highlighting the company’s efforts to embed responsible practices throughout its operations and supply chain.

The company also recorded an 86 out of 100 score in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment. This marked the seventh year in a row that Beko has achieved the highest result within the DHP Household Durables Industry category. The score comes at a time when many businesses are reassessing sustainability investments, with Beko maintaining that long-term commitments, while challenging, ultimately deliver resilience and credibility.
Further recognition came from the Carbon Disclosure Project, which once again placed Beko on its A List for both Climate Change and Water Security. Achieving a Double A rating positions the company among a small group of global leaders recognised for transparency and environmental performance. Beko said the result reflects its emphasis on data-led decision-making, detailed reporting and alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative, with progress towards its Net Zero 2050 ambition outlined in its 2024 Integrated Report.
Operational data from 2024 underpinned the latest results. Across its global manufacturing network, Beko completed 332 energy efficiency projects, saving 59,901 gigajoules of energy and avoiding 5,800 tonnes of COâ‚‚e emissions. The company has also increased its reliance on renewable power, with 60.5 per cent of electricity used in manufacturing now sourced from green energy. Installed renewable capacity has reached 90.2 megawatts-peak, with a stated goal of reaching 100 per cent renewable electricity by 2030.

Progress was also reported in waste and water management. Manufacturing sites achieved a 98.5 per cent waste recycling rate, while water-saving initiatives, including efficiency upgrades and rainwater harvesting systems, reduced water use by 223,650 cubic metres during the year. Beko’s water stewardship efforts were reinforced by its role as a signatory to the UN CEO Water Mandate, supporting responsible water management beyond its own facilities.
Sustainability initiatives have also shaped the company’s product strategy. In 2024, 61.9 per cent of Beko’s total revenue came from energy- and water-efficient appliances, reflecting growing consumer demand for products that reduce household environmental impact.
While the latest accolades mark a significant milestone, Beko said it views sustainability as an ongoing process rather than a finished goal. The company maintains that continued transparency, measurable action and long-term thinking will remain central to its approach as it works to deliver environmental and social benefits at scale for both people and the planet.
