Batch of Leader AFI-HD-AU Router And Mesh Point Kits Recalled

The ACCC has notified consumers that 320 of Leader Systems AFI-HD-AU router and mesh point kits have imperfect bonding which could cause exposure to live parts and in turn could result in an electric shock.

The Leader System AFI-HD-AU router and mesh point kit is a three-piece system consisting of a router base station and two wireless mesh points.

The ACCC says, “A single batch of 320 products was affected. One affected unit remains with a consumer and that consumer has been contacted.”

The ACCC says most of the affected units have been returned from the supply chain, and there is believed to be one outstanding unit with a consumer. The affected unit has the unit serial number of GG1703113749 and the MAC addresses on mesh points are F09FC2D9509F and F09FC2D9515A.

The consumer watchdog says if someone believes they have the remaining product from the affected batch, stop using the product immediately and contact Leader RMA Team on 03 9037 3020 (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5.30pm) or email [email protected] to arrange for the return of the product and for a replacement product to be provided.

The dates the product was available for sale was August 21 to October 5 with the product sold nationally.
