Australians Binge Netflix Faster Than 95% Of The World

Netflix’s recent study has ranked Australia as the eighth country in the world, for its ability to quickly ‘binge race’ content from its streaming service.

Netflix established the term ‘binge racing’ to describe individuals who watch the new season of a show, within 24 hours of release.

The study featured 190 countries – Australia notched a position in the Top 10, ranking 8th place.

Canada led the charge, ahead of America and Denmark.

Australia’s most effective binge racers come from the ACT, ahead of QLD and Tasmania.

Individuals in New South Wales ranked in last place.

The study also revealed the most popular content series Australians binge raced was ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’, which was trailed by ‘Marvel’s The Defenders’.

Netflix original drama ‘Stranger Things’ came in at Australia’s 11th most binge raced series.
