Aussies Can Now Use Google Assistant To Shop

Aussies are now able to use Google Assistant to pay for transactions on their smartphones.

This means users can go into the Assistant app and purchase items through their saved credit card.

It also allows users to make appointments and reservations such as restaurant reservations or fitness class bookings.

Google Assistant adds your delivery address that is saved within a user’s Google account. To complete the transaction, a user accepts the order with the Assistant confirming the order and placing a receipt in the Assistant order history.

As it has only been introduced Google has not announced which apps are compatible with the service. ChannelNews understands you can purchase items via eBay with Google Assistant.
