Apple Watch 5 Tipped To Come In Titanium & Ceramic
Brazilian site iHelp BR has spotted graphics hidden in the beta code of watchOS 6 which points to both ceramic and titanium casings for the Apple’s upcoming smartwatch, likely to be the Watch 5.
The report by Filipe Esposito also states the new smartwatch will be unveiled sometime in September, alongside the new range of iPhones set for release.
According to The Verge, the finishes reportedly will be available in both the 40mm and 44mm versions of the smartwatch.
However, Esposito does advice caution in assuming these are for the new Watch 5 range, and said that they could be updates for the current Series 4 smartwatches instead.
The latest leaks do give credit to recent comments from Apple analyst and insider Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that the next gen of Apple’s wearable devices is in the pipeline for release in the second half of 2019.
Unfortunately, Kuo offered no further details on what to expect with the upcoming Apple Watch 5.
