Apple Pull The Plug On iPhone X

Prior to the launch of the iPhone X Apple was planning a gold version of their top end smartphone, now it has been canned.

When it didn’t arrive, Apple PR tried to spin that it was “pure speculation”.

Their new gold model which was aimed at the Asian market was revealed in a submission to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States back in July 2017, prior to the iPhone X launch.

The reason we’re not seeing this variant until now is because the FCC has a 180-degree confidentiality clause which prevented the images from being officially revealed.

Naturally this is designed to keep products secret until the manufacturers launch them.

Apple ended up releasing the iPhone X in Space Grey and Silver.

ChannelNews understands that one of the reasons was that the casing on the iPhone X has been exposed as being easily-scratched.
