ALDI Unveils 60″ 4K UHD TV For $11 An Inch

As part of its next ‘Special Buys’ sale, ALDI has proven ‘top-end’ 4K TVs aren’t exclusively reserved for hefty price tags. The budget-friendly retailer has unveiled its new Bauhn 60″ Ultra HD 4K TV, and at $669 equates to ~$11/an inch.

Known for inciting brawls amongst bargain-hunting shoppers, ALDI is said to have sufficient stock of the new TVs, enough to satisfy demand.

The Bauhn 60″ [152cm] UHD 4K TVs will go to sale on Saturday March 24th, and will accompany a one-year warranty.

The TV features a display resolution of 3840 x 2160, built-in HD tuner, USB Media Playback and 4 HDMI ports.

Also available at ALDI’s March 24th Special Buys sale, is a 40″ [101cm] Bauhn Full HD TV with built-in DVD player.

The product will retail for $349, and accompanies a one year warranty.

The TV features a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, PVR/ARC functionality and 3 HDMI ports. PC input is also available, with USB playback, and a built-in HD tuner.

ALDI will also sell a suite of TV and phone accessories for $7.99 at its forthcoming Special Buys sale – e.g. 1m USB to Lightning cable, 2m HDMI cable and 2m USB to Micro USB cable.

A low profile bracket for 42″ – 80″ LCD TVs will also be available, retailing for $39.99. The bracket claims to support items up to 65kg.
