Acer has revealed it will further expand its gaming PC and Chromebook product lineup this year, as the company continues to see significant growth in both divisions.
According to Taiwanese trade publication DigiTimes, Acer’s shipments of gaming devices nearly doubled in January this year, with its Chromebook business notching higher volumes than the industry average.
Acer Chairman and CEO, Jason Chen, states the Taiwanese company will also further expand its enterprise PC presence internationally this year.
The company continues to invest in ‘smart solutions’, with the Acer English System further expanding in China. The system utilises voice recognition and data analysis to help individuals with English speaking skills.
Acer’s smart parking solution has also recently won a Global ICT Excellence Award at World Congress on Information Technology & Services Alliance (WITSA) 2018.
