Convoy CEO Funeral Set For Next Friday

Hi Fi industry executives, former staff and many suppliers are set to attend the funeral of Geoff Mathews the former CEO of Convoy International who passed away suddenly last week.

The funeral service for Geoff will be held at South Chapel, Woronora Memorial Park, Linden Street, Sutherland on Friday 8th March 2019 at 11:00am.

During the weekend, several audio industry executives have contacted me with stories spanning the 45 years that Mathews has been a key figure included among those people are industry executives from overseas.

What is not known at this stage is what is the future for Convoy with David Mathews set to take on the role of CEO.

“I have been listening to my father’s advice on the sound industry for many years and I feel confident that what he told me and taught me will now be of value” he said late on Friday.
