Nikon Developing New Firmware For D4S, D810 And D750 DSLRs
The firmware will provide support for recording command function with HDMI output to external recorders, with Nikon stating it will enable synchronisation of recording start and stop with HDMI output.
“This new firmware will provide greater support for the recording of high-definition, uncompressed data that makes the most of the superior resolution of the D4S, D810 and D750, and the excellent rendering performance of Nikkor lenses, to external recorders,” Nikon stated. “In addition, the firmware will also allow for more efficient video editing that harnesses the superior sharpness and clarity as well as rich tone characteristics available to users.” Nikon stated it plans to release the firmware later in the year. |
