New Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF7 Decked Out For SelfiesSporting a slim, classic design and a textured grip, the DMC-GF7 is equipped with a 16 MP Digital Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine, and features a 3″ 1040k dot touchscreen monitor that flips 180 degrees.

Self Shot Mode features include: Face Shutter, triggering the shutter after the user waves their hand in front of their face, and Buddy Shutter, triggering the shutter when the camera detects two faces next to each other, with the shots taken either immediately or at a three or 10 second countdown.

Meanwhile, a number of Beauty Modes are designed to enhance images “without complicated settings or manual retouching”.

There are additionally 22 filter options in Creative Control mode.

The DMC-GF7 shoots full-HD (1920 x 1080) 50p videos in AVCHD or MP4 (MPEG-4/H.264) format with stereo sound, and also supports 1080/24p native mode with 24 Mbps in AVCHD format.

It additionally features burst shooting at 5.8 fps, while a range of autofocus functions are designed for operation in a variety of shooting situations.

Paired with the Panasonic Image App, users can control most settings remotely via their smartphone, connecting by pressing the DMC-GF7’s Wi-Fi button, and can check photos via Remote View.
