Light And Slim: Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet Lands In Oz
Sony states that the Z4 Tablet is the world’s lightest and slimmest 10″ tablet, weighing in at 393 g for the Wi-Fi and LTE model and 389 g for the Wi-Fi-only variant, and measuring in at 6.1 mm in width. Designed with premium stainless steel metal corners and mineral glass, it has an IP68 waterproof and dust tight rating.
The Z4 Tablet sports what Sony states is the world’s brightest 10.1″ 2K display, while beneath the hood it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor. It comes with 3 GB RAM, up to 32 GB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot providing for up to 128 GB memory.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Z4 is decked out with an 8.1 MP main camera and 5.1 MP front-facing
camera. Sony states its battery provides for up to 17 hours of video playback.

The LTE Z4 Tablet is available from today through Telstra retailers nationwide both outright for $888 RRP or at $62/month on a Go Mobile Broadband Plan for 24 months. Customers will also receive a complimentary Bluetooth keyboard valued at $299 with the purchase, available via redemption while stocks last.
The Wi-Fi variant will be available from late September at Sony kiosks, centres and Sony Online for $799 RRP, with more details to come.
