Acer Adds To Liquid Leap Wearables Line-Up
All three models are decked out with an intuitive touchscreen control, allowing users to track daily activities and exercise, and providing notifications when pre-set goals are met, while a new version of Leap Manager maps out a graph of different activity indicators.
The Leap Active, which comes with three interchangeable bands, tracks activity during the day and sleep patterns during the night, with a notifications feature informing the wearer of incoming calls, text and social messages. It can also be used as a smartphone control for music playback, allowing for remote control of music.
The Leap Fit adds a heart rate sensor to the features of the Leap Active, and also comes with a stress sensor that sends notifications when stress levels are high, while providing up to five days of battery life on a single charge.
Featuring a 1.4″ display housed in a metal frame, the Leap Curve offers the functionality of the Leap Fit decked out in a curved design, which Acer states provides extra room for information to be shown, and is available with different bands of premium material.
Acer has yet to release pricing and availability details for the new line-up, with the three devices to be on display next week at Computex 2015.
