HTC One M9+ With Fingerprint Sensor To Launch In China
At present, it appears HTC will focus its attentions on the Chinese market, where it will take on the likes of the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.
Forbes has reported HTC as stating it is not currently planned to release the M9+ in North America or Europe, although HTC does also state “ranging in other markets” will at a later date be confirmed. The M9+ measures in slightly larger than its 5″ M9 sibling, features a higher resolution display, and comes with a fingerprint sensor and a 20 MP Duo Camera. Sporting a 5.2″ 2K display and powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 core processor, the multi-directional fingerprint sensor is located on the front of the phone, allowing users to unlock the M9+ by placing their finger on the sensor in any direction. The 20 MP Duo Camera is complemented by an UltraPixel front-facing camera, with HTC dual BoomSound speakers with 5.1 channel Dolby Audio surround sound positioned at the M9+’s front. Housed in an all-metal body, the M9+ is also equipped with HTC’s Sense 7 software, aiding in personalising phone operations. HTC has yet to confirm the M9+’s launch date or pricing. |
