It has sparked speculation that Samsung’s future high-end Galaxy smartphones will use only one chip to run applications and enable wireless connections.
Called the Exynos 8 Octa, the chip is scheduled for mass production before the end of the year, and is poised as adirect challenger to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon.
