LG Australia Appoints New Head Of Digital
The role will encompass SEO, SEM, website strategies, digital media buys, ecommerce, social media and CRM, with Ellery to provide senior level management of LG’s digital assets across LG’s six product categories.
Ellery will work closely with agencies VML and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, and will report to general manager of marketing, Lambro Skropidis.
“Every year digital is more and more a part of our business and we have very high aspirations for our digital footprint in 2015,” Skropidis commented.
“The year has kicked off brilliantly on the digital front and Nick’s experience will add some serious clout to keep moving in the right direction.”
Ellery joins LG after spending two years at Pharmacare, where he devised and implemented the organisation’s overall digital strategy, having previously led digital strategy for Red Bull Australia and New Zealand, and also having worked three years at Microsoft in a community manager role.
