Bang & Olufsen Builds Home Automation Integration

Bang & Olufsen Builds Home Automation IntegrationBang & Olufsen has added direct IP control and announced Bang & Olufsen-supported drivers enabling two-way communication with and control from major-brand home automation systems, according to the report.

“We have created a solution where some of the largest home integrators such as Crestron, Control4 and Savant are the first to be fully integrated into the Bang & Olufsen A/V world, and many more will follow,” TWICE reported Bang & Olufsen head of custom installation Brian Bjorn Hansen as stating.

“The developments enable system integrators to use, for example, our TVs in any custom installation projects without further knowledge about the Bang & Olufsen system.”

Bang & Olufsen additionally said that it has upgraded its Gateway with the addition of the IFTTT (If This Then That) programming option, TWICE reported.

IFTTT provides for a combination of programming options used in a variety of scenarios, allowing users to trigger an action, such as turning on the air conditioning or dimming lights, based on a changing circumstance.
