TCL has unveiled its new flagship Q95K soundbar, combining an 11.1.4-channel configuration, 1,420W of peak output and audio tuning developed with Bang & Olufsen.

The four-piece system includes a main soundbar, a wireless subwoofer and two wireless rear speakers. It houses 22 individual drivers across 16 physical channels, reducing its reliance on virtual surround processing.

The main soundbar handles the front, centre, side, wide and height channels, while the rear speakers add dedicated surround and overhead audio for formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS.

Bang & Olufsen also provides its Beosonic interface, allowing listeners to adjust sound profiles through a mobile app.

The Q95K, currently only available in China, is powered by a MediaTek MT8532 processor and uses 12 amplifier chips to separately drive different speaker groups, which TCL claims reduces interference between channels.

Its wireless subwoofer features two opposing seven-inch drivers designed to minimise cabinet vibration while producing deeper bass. The system has a claimed frequency response of 30Hz to 20kHz and uses aluminium diaphragms and neodymium magnets.

Connectivity includes three full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, HDMI eARC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Spotify and Apple AirPlay 2.

The soundbar supports 4K video passthrough at up to 144Hz, Variable Refresh Rate and Auto Low Latency Mode, positioning it for use with high-end gaming consoles and PCs.

TCL’s T-Chord feature can synchronise the system with speakers built into compatible TCL televisions.

Room calibration and automatic optimisation for wall-mounted or tabletop placement are available through the TCL app.

The company also unveiled the 1,180W Q85K and 580W Q75K, both offering 7.1.2-channel audio.

TCL has not confirmed Australian pricing or availability.
