New LG Mid-Range Smartphones To Be On Display At MWC
The Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy will each be available in both LTE and 3G versions, with the Magna and Spirit featuring in-cell touch displays, maximising their display areas and minimising the bezels.
The Magna sports a 5″ display, is powered, depending on the market, by either a 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, and features an 8 MP main camera and 5 MP front camera. Sporting a 4.7″ display, the Spirit is decked out with the same processor specs as the Magna and comes with an 8 MP or 5 MP main camera and 1 MP front camera. Both the Magna and the Spirit feature a curved design, designed to fit comfortably in the hand. The Leon has a 4.5″ display, while the Joy measures in as the smallest of the group with a 4″ display. Powered by either a 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, the Leon sports an 8 MP or 5 MP main camera and a front VGA camera, with the Joy equipped with either a 1.2 GHz quad-core or 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, coming with a 5 MP main camera and front VGA camera. A number of UX features, including Gesture Shot, designed for taking selfies with a hand gesture, will also feature in the new range. All four smartphones run Android 5.0 Lollipop, with the Joy also running Android 4.4 KitKat. LG states the new range will begin rolling out in selected global markets this week. |
