Beta testing of the new interface design is currently being undertaken with the new design tipped to be launched in June.
The change will bring its interface more in line with what you see when you use the service on a mobile device or gaming console.
As part of the new design Netflix has eliminated the scrolling carousel instead there will be few titles shown with larger images displayed on screen. Users will be able to expand the images to show more information, rather than having to click a link that redirects to a different screen.
Netflix has told testers that Navigating their content will become quicker.
The update is Netflix’s first big desktop overhaul since 2011.
