Breville Announces New Head Of Marketing

Brevile has appointed Roni Robertson to the new position of Head of Marketing for Breville Group ANZ.

Robertson was previously the business manager of the Philips Male Grooming, Beauty and Garment Care division for over a decade, and prior to this was marketing manager at Brita Water Filters (Australia), national marketing manager at LVMH perfume & Cosmetics, and business manager at Kolotex (Hosiery) Australia Pty Ltd.

Philips announced in November last year that its distribution agreement with Breville for Male Grooming, Beauty and Garment Care products would come to an end after 15 years on May 31 2017, when Philips will begin managing distribution in-house.

General manager of Breville Group ANZ Mark O’Kelly said that Ms Robertson’s experience in marketing for leading multi-national brands would help strengthen the company’s position in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

“This is a critical time for the business with ANZ being the lead region for many new product launches. Roni guided the Philips team at Breville to achieve the number one position in both men’s shaving and garment care categories, and we know she will commit the same drive to her new role at Breville,” O’Kelly said.

“I am very excited to continue my work at Breville, not only working on one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading small domestic appliance brands but also to be part of a team of passionate and dedicated individuals in a company that I enjoy walking into every day,” Robertson said.
